SUSPENDED | Giants Causeway Cliff Path Walking & Coach Tour

THIS TOUR IS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Dear Customer,

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, this tour is temporarily out of operation. We hope to get this back up and running as soon as possible.

We are however beginning the operation of some tours on 1st July 2020 including our 4* rated NITB (Northern Ireland Tourist Board) and World Host accredited Belfast City Sightseeing Tour.

The guided cliff top walk at the Giant's Causeway is a full day luxury coach tour from central Belfast which includes a spectacular 5 mile (8k) coastal hike along some of the best cliff views in Europe. Spend the morning on the coach visiting Carrickfergus castle, the stunning Antrim Coast drive, a visit to the famous Carrick A Rede rope bridge (weather and season permitting).  In the afternoon enjoy a guided walking tour along incredibly scenic, wild, rugged, cliff top paths to the main World Heritage Site of the Giant's Causeway before rejoining the main coach tour for return travel to central Belfast by 7.00pm (6.00pm in winter).

Your coach driver/guide will hand you over to a dedicated walking tour guide after your visit to the rope bridge. The hike is suitable to those of average fitness with an interest in spending some quality time in the outdoors. At just 5 miles the walking tour includes amazing views, plenty of time for photographs, points of interest guided commentary, a quality visit to the Giant's Causeway site and a comfort break before rejoining the main coach tour.

Tours run every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from February to November. The full tour including 3.5 hour guided hike and tour transfer from Belfast is just £49 per person with a minimum of 2 people per booking.

Warm Clothing
Please come dressed appropriately for not only the season, but also for the activitiy. In our experience hiking shoes or boots are better than trainers. Denim jeans are never a good idea in inclement weather. Layers are best, a base layer with something warm/windproof followed by a waterproof layer. Please dress for any weather. There is no such thing as cold weather... just wrong clothes!

Packed Lunch
You will arrive at the Carrick A Rede rope bridge around 12.00pm - 12.20pm. The driver will let you know what time you need to return to the coach but we suggest you get to the bridge and back so that you can enjoy eating your picnic lunch on the coach or at the picnic tables if the weather allows whilst waiting on the others returning to the coach.
